In this approximately one-hour long presentation (15 minutes for Q&A), subject matter expert Tony Oriti of MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions will walk participants through some of the exciting new developments in electroplating for fasteners. In particular Mr. Oriti will share about new innovations with Zinc-Nickel plating. He will discuss Zinc-Nickel options that have been developed to lower the risk of potential hydrogen embrittlement and explain why Zinc-Nickel is quickly becoming a preferred Cadmium plating replacement choice. Mr. Oriti will also share his expertise into recent innovations in post-plating options. In particular he will explain how chromates and sealers can boost a platings performance, specifically with respect to corrosion and frictional response. This is a must for those in technical or commercial roles or anyone seeking to learn more about how advancements in plating and post plating technologies are addressing solutions to persistent challenges with fastener plating.
