Training and Workforce Development
Skilled labor shortages remain a pressing challenge across manufacturing. IFI addresses this head-on with comprehensive training programs for member companies. Monthly webinars and in-person training seminars cover topics such as cold-heading, thread rolling, and geometric dimensioning. For ongoing education, IFI offers Workforge, an on-demand library featuring hundreds of courses in general manufacturing and specialized fastener production. IFI has also launched the first ever Fastener Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program for training machine operators.
