The 2026 John D. Fischer Golf Outing & Division III Meeting was a resounding success, bringing together leaders from across the fastener industry for an engaging day of insight, connection, and great food. The morning kicked off as members gathered for a packed Division III meeting led by Sarah Schultz and Mark Quebbeman. The agenda featured critical government affairs and tariff updates from Jennifer Baker Reid, alongside key division business and event planning updates.

A major highlight of the morning session was a presentation by Carol Howerton from the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center, who walked members through getting started with the Fastener Technician Apprenticeship Programs. Her insights offered a way for companies to develop a talent pipeline and enhance their workforce skills via hands-on training.

After a fantastic lunch buffet, attendees took to the course for an afternoon of friendly competition, capping things off at the 19th Hole Reception. Beyond the networking and time spent on the green, the outing carried a deeper purpose: thanks to the extraordinary generosity of this year’s corporate sponsors, the event raised approximately $6,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Combining meaningful industry progress with support for St. Jude’s life-saving mission made this year’s gathering truly unforgettable.
