With over 45 years in the fastener industry, Mark Quebbeman brings extensive experience in manufacturing. From his time at companies like Semblex and Camcar, to his current role as Automotive Division Manager at IFI, he has built a strong understanding of the automotive fastener industry and how it continues to evolve. He also knows this industry is built on strong connections.
“Without the IFI, my perspective would’ve been driven by what I knew internally… but I wouldn’t have really understood some of the best practices and some of the other global things that were going on within the industry,” he said. This broader view helps IFI member companies stay competitive and avoid operating with limited information.
He also points to the value of learning from others across the industry.
“You get a much broader perspective of what’s going on and what makes other companies successful. Everything from sales and marketing to operational issues, safety, HR, engineering, recruiting, and culture,” he explained. That shared knowledge helps companies make more informed decisions and strengthen their overall operations.
