IFI to Join with SFA and 828Strong to Help Western NC Flood Victims Have a Happy Holiday

IFI is pleased to share an opportunity to assist our friends in North Carolina who were devastated by the hurricanes and storms this past year.  We received an email from Craig Penland at Eurolink, who informed us that they and Southwestern Fastener Association (SFA) have teamed up with 828Strong to raise money for families with children this holiday season.  

Below is a note from Craig Penland of Eurolink:

“As many of you are aware, the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has left a significant impact in the Western North Carolina community. Prior to the hurricane, their local school systems identified 250 children as homeless. Now, and to my surprise, that number has surged to over 1,100 children. These are 1,100 kids without stable homes during the holiday season, and our hearts are heavy with the knowledge of their need.  IFI and SFA are partnering with Biltmore Church in Asheville, NC to make a real difference for these children. They have launched the 828Strong Christmas initiative with a goal to bring Christmas back to Western North Carolina for those families who have lost so much.”

IFI will match up to $5,000 of member donations to this cause.  Please consider giving.
