In this webinar we will explore the fundamentals of threads including basic terminology, thread lead, thread handedness, the difference between coarse and fine pitches, explanation of Pitch Diameter, thread designations, and thread fit. Additionally, we will look at inspection methods System 21 and System 22 and the gages associated with each. At the conclusion of this webinar participants should have a better understanding why Pitch Diameter is so important and understand the concepts related to thread fit. Participants should also come away understanding why the GO Ring Gage changes after plating on Class 2A (or 6g) threads.  Individuals that may best benefit from this webinar are Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Tooling, Technical Sales, and anyone that would like to know more about fasteners.
